Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Kotlin Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications using the Kotlin programming language. They should have a strong understanding of software development principles, Android SDK, and Kotlin language features. The candidate should also possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Mobile App Development: Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using the Kotlin programming language and Android SDK.
UI/UX Implementation: Implement user interfaces and experiences according to design specifications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
API Integration: Integrate with backend services and APIs to enable data exchange and functionality within mobile applications.
Testing and Debugging: Write unit tests, conduct integration testing, and debug issues to ensure the reliability and performance of mobile applications.
Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance, memory usage, and battery consumption to deliver responsive and efficient user experiences.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Kotlin Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your Kotlin projects and technical skills.
Proficiency in Kotlin programming language and Android app development, including Android Studio, Gradle, and Android Jetpack components.
Solid understanding of software development principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Kotlin certification or completion of Kotlin-specific training courses.
Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) for cross-platform development.
Knowledge of modern Android development trends and best practices, such as Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, and Coroutines.
Understanding of mobile app security principles and best practices.
